Will getting a nasty cold/flu affect diva’s dieting?
This is the end of the 13th week of a new lifestyle of healthy eating and lots of exercise.
The first part of this week rocked. I had my dieting groove on.
I was 3 working out monkey stickers into the week when Thursday morning I woke up with a dreadful cold-flu combo. very, very sick and weak and achey and yuck, yuck, yuck. And that was it. I checked out.
Looking at the calendar we see those monkey stickers for working out and cute smiley faces for good diet days. And then silence for rest of week. Not even a sticker of the week.
Not that those days didn’t deserve smiley faces but I was so sick I don’t even remember what I ate but I know I didn’t care too much.
Last week I weighed 172.6… this week I weigh 171.4 One pound burned by fever or by exercise. Not sure which but getting sick burned my ass because I had a great groove going for several weeks.
I really felt like my new healthy lifestyle would go on interrupted for months and months. I had high hopes of dropping balls of fat like hail from the sky.
Once again I am reminded that this losing weight process does not follow my rules and that I’m in this for the long haul and I hope you are too … Be well
