Diva Dieting’s First Post

Creating a blog has been a longtime dream of mine but I didn’t have the confidence. I’ve recently acquired a set of balls, extra time and ten more pounds. I’m willing to take my fat online. Here are some of the things I want to accomplish:

Reveal deeply personal and intimate experiences
This is a challenge as I am intensely private. I don’t withhold intimate  details about myself  like a socio-psychopath would (and for good reasons). I’m more like a quiet listening type person and am selective with whom I share parts of myself with. Some people see me as open and fluid with personal information. That’s like one-eighth of my personality style. What they may not realize is that I only do that with a handful of people…  like one-eighth of the people that think I’m a blabbermouth. Three or four people at the most.

I frankly don’t find myself that interesting. I share my stuff with people I’m not afraid to bore. I trust them to be bored by me. The internet offers me a chance to potentially bore thousands of people. This takes a lot of courage for me to do.

Make fun and helpful online motivational tools
This is the primary reason I want to blog. I’m an artist, musician, web designer and I love motivating people to go beyond where they are. I want to create great stuff that helps people do this. I adore the immediacy of online experience. When a person needs help with something they can get it right when they need it. Quite possibly before they do self-sabotage. I can make something and get feedback to improve it. Creative process that is alive and changing. Creative process that is rooted in personal growth and transformation. Creative process with purpose.

Give unsolicited advice
I feel it is my job to generously give advice. Plus-size advice. I’ve noticed a lot of my friends don’t always like being given advice even though I’m so generous with it. Maybe it’s my timing. Maybe I give bad advice. Maybe they just want to vent and pausing to take in advice gets in the way of that. Having this blog allows me the opportunity to generate the advice I so love to give to people who are in the mood to receive it.

Receive unsolicited advice
Here I get to receive advice that I normally wouldn’t solicit and I sure hope it’s juicy because I love a rich in chocolate opinion.

“One Love” Glue
I’m putting love glue in these blogs and vlogs. It keeps all that you love intact and together as long as it has real value to you… and that includes fat, lovers, friends, antiques and collectibles, relatives and digital files.
