Greetings from Diva Dieting Galactic International World Headquarters. This is the first week of a brand new lifestyle and though I may look the same on the outside many changes have occurred on my inside. A little tricky this week adding exercise and subtracting some bad eating and drinking habits.
It’s like moving into a new house without the thrill of a new house. It’s like moving into the same house but I’m different and the house is the same and I’ve got to make the old house refresh and be new. Let me just say that it wasn’t easy because this is outside my comfort zone and whether I use a house as a metaphor or not doesn’t make the comfort zone more comfortable. I want to get slender but I don’t want to change a damn thing.
This week I went to the gym twice for strength training and high intensity cardio. I also went to two Jazzercise 2x classes and several long, long walks. I know this because I track stuff on my new calendar . I’ve been using stickers to measure my progress because I’m kind of retarded and hate numbers and spreadsheets.
I had great many stickers on the calendar this week since the smiley face means good diet and monkey stickers means working out.
So overall an impressive first week. Let’s do some before/after shots of course in this case let’s do some during shots. After decades of seeing before/after shots that often look like crime scene body outline poses I’ve decided to do something a little classier. I tried different outfits for the before and after shots. It is extremely important for a dieting diva to select the perfect before and after outfit as I will have to wear it for many many weeks. I decided on this classic gray dress. It reveals my fleshy bits without exposing actual fleshy bits. As a mature diva I like to keep nakedness on the downlow.
Let’s have a look at my initial weight.
Oh yeah 180.6 pounds. I’ve got some work to do.
