Diva Dieting Weekly Review #2


Vlog transcript: This is the end of the second week of a new life of healthy eating and lots of exercise.

This is not exclusively about losing weight. This is about making a commitment. It’s also about me learning the art of patience and giving up the war I had with diets demanding that I lose weight in short periods of time only to gain it back. I want to feel great because my body is jacked up on endorphins from exercising which is what happened this week. I feel great.

Let’s take a look at the calendar for this week. Just a reminder that when a monkey sticker appears on my calendar it means that I either lifted weights and or did interval cardio workout. Smiley faces represents a day of healthy food.

Whoa! Look at all these monkeys. It rained monkeys this past week. Seven of them. And a week full of smiley faces. And so we end this week with a quadruple sticker set.

Super great, super star and I deserve that because I rocked this week.

I’ve decided to pep up the weekly review photos with some house music I wrote. I’ve grown weary of the chalk outline nature of before and after photos. I hope you enjoy this format because it will be with me for weeks and weeks. So let’s have a look and listen…

Before I step on the scale I want to say that no matter what turns up I’m going to be non-judgmental. I have this blower to celebrate my commitment that I stuck to this week. Last week I weighed in at 180.6 pounds so let’s see what this week.

Toot horn.
I had 7 monkeys. No white flour, no white sugar
1 pound. (voice gets more depressed)
This is (pep up) exactly what I have to celebrate.
I’m not on the lose 25 pounds in 1 week diet.
I’m on the lose unhealthy pounds in as long as it takes diet.
I probably gained like 10 pounds of muscle and so I really lost 11 pounds of fat.
Who cares? I release 1 pound of fat that I will never see again.
Farewell 1 pound.
